Farming
An essential part of the Agape community is the farming that students do when they are not studying. They learn responsibility and they work hard to support the rest of the Agape family through providing food for others. The modern farming skills they learn will also equip them for adult life. Much of Agape's food comes from our homegrown produce, and whatever we do not use is sold. Your generosity would make it possible for our farming to continue even in these difficult times.
Education
To continue our ministry of serving the most needy and destitute children of Uganda, we need constant investment in our boarding school. Ugandans from across the country form the community we have in Mukono and financially support the life-saving work we do. Our school is at the heart of our mission, giving students English-language knowledge and mastery of the subjects that will propel them to great careers. As COVID-19 imperils education across the world, we need your help to keep our school running.
Health
Agape was originally founded for children who had been impacted by the HIV/AIDs epidemic, and so the health and well-being of our students is one of our first priorities. Generous patrons like Dr. Meyers and his wife, shown below, provide services like dental care to our boys and girls. Right now, we desperately need your help to provide the necessary medicines to our children.
